### Step 3: Fit the Countertop

### Step 5: Trim the Excess

Trim any excess overhang from the countertop using a jigsaw or circular saw. A flush-trim router is recommended to achieve precise and clean edges.

### Step 6: Seal the Countertop

Apply a bead of caulk along the joints between the countertop and cabinets. Use a caulking gun to smooth the caulk and remove any excess.

### Step 7: Apply Sealant

Once the caulk has dried, apply a bead of sealant to the top edges of the countertop. This will prevent water and moisture from seeping into the seams.
