Also, do not use acidic or abrasive cleaners on marble as this could damage the finish.

Removing Stains From Granite Countertops

1. Blot up as much of the staining agent as you can. Do not rub the stain as this could cause further spreading. 2. Apply a poultice to the stain. Poultices can be made with a mixture of baking soda and water or hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Apply the poultice and cover it with plastic wrap. Allow it to dry for several hours or overnight. 3. Remove the poultice and rinse the area with warm water. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed.

Removing Stains From Quartz Countertops

1. Determine the type of stain by identifying the substance that caused it. 2. Use a commercial cleaner specifically designed for quartz countertops. 3. Apply the cleaner per the manufacturer's instructions. 4. Rinse the area with warm water.

Removing Stains From Marble Countertops

1. Blot up as much of the staining agent from the marble countertop as you can using a clean cloth or paper towels. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain further into the stone. 2. Use a poultice to get rid of the stain. For oil-based stains, use a poultice made of baking soda and water or baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. For water-based stains, use a poultice made with baking soda and water. 3. Apply the poultice to the stain and cover it with plastic wrap. Leave the poultice on for several hours or overnight. 4. Once the poultice has dried, remove it and rinse the area with warm water.
