Step 6: Seal the Edges

To protect the edges of the laminate sheet and prevent moisture from seeping underneath, apply a bead of clear silicone caulk along all the edges. Smooth the caulk with your finger or a caulk tool and remove any excess. Allow the caulk to dry completely before using the countertop.
